Tough Stuff

Heather Love

These past couple of rounds have been extremely challenging.

This new round of chemo drugs have caused some rare painful side effects that have been challenging to power through the past few rounds. (Imagine an awful foot cramp....but happening simultaneously in your wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles for days on end). It’s been hard physically and emotionally and there have been many more tears.

I feel so thankful to have only 1 chemo treatment left. Then we will move onto surgery and radiation (more to come on that later). Words truly can’t also express the gratefulness I feel for the love and support that you have all showed towards me, Rick, the boys, and my mom during all of this. I am humbled by it all and truly, truly grateful.

Heather -- Our daily prayer is that God envelopes you in his comforting, loving arms and continues to provide you with the strength you need during your treatment journey. Your positive attitude and bravery are an example to all. -- Love, Fred and Donna
